Which wounds should Kollavet® Collagen Sheets be used with?

Kollavet® collagen sheets are safe and effective in treating small and large pet wounds at home. They are appropriate for use on surgical sites, traumatic wounds, superficial wounds, burns, footpad injuries, hot spots, and lick granulomas. The sheets are porous collagen membranes that are designed to be permeable and breathable, with fluid control similar to skin. Sheets are soft, flexible, pliable, elastic, and durable for ease of application. All Kollavet® products are non-toxic, natural and safe to help heal your pet’s wounds at home.

Kollavet® Collagen Sheets interact with the wound microenvironment on a cellular and molecular level assisting the body’s natural healing process. The sheets made from 100% non-hydrolyzed type 1 bovine native collagen. Human BioSciences, Inc. developed proprietary Kollagen® technology which has been used in human wound care for the last 30 years. The process protects and retains significantly more native triple helical protein structure which maintains the stability of the collagen to make more of the molecules available through all four phases of wound healing.
